Revel in the Mess

imperfect masterpiece

The idea that you keep coming back to, isn’t just another idea.
It represents something bigger.

Maybe you consider it a calling, just your curiosity
or simply a desire to create.

Whatever it is, this idea means more to you. That’s why it’s stuck around in the back of your mind and on your “someday” list, always there, yet in the distance. It’s still there because you secretly or maybe not so secretly want to pursue it.

Your curiosity keeps nudging you towards it.

Maybe for you it’s a piece of art, a business idea, a workshop, event or festival.

Every time you think of the idea, you’re faced with the blank page, empty screen or vast white canvas.

It’s scary, because to enter the creative process means to enter uncertainty.

And so we procrastinate, we let our idea collect dust, we wait and we wonder.

Whether you’ve been hitting snooze on your ideas, wading through the messy middle of a creative project or nearing the finish line hoping to hit launch, this FREE workshop series is for you.

So you've started your project and sorted out the behind the scenes details. But now the shiny newness of your idea has started to wear off. AND maybe you've hit a detour or two along the way. Finding yourself stuck somewhere in the....MESSY MIDDLE.

The messy middle is where the daunting reality of uncertainty sets in and where your initial spark or inspiration has faded just a little. It can be a confusing, frustrating and let’s face it a bit (okay REALLY) scary.

BUT there's also opportunity here. Opportunity to experiment, get curious and embrace the messiness of the whole creative process. This messy middle requires extra imagination.

If you've been wading through the messy middle and need some imagination and to get reconnected to your curiosity and creativity, this workshop is for you.

In the workshop you'll participate in experiments to reconnect you with your creativity and be introduced to tools to support you in problem solving and developing your curiosity. And Ultimately it will give yourself the space, time and new perspective you cultivate the extra imagination needed to see your project through to completion.

This isn’t a lecture or how-to guide. This is a hands on workshop, where you’ll be using painting, writing and other creative supplies and exercises to take your idea through the creative process.
